Fixed AI templates showing as locked on the Professional AI plan

We fixed an issue that caused some customers on the Professional AI plan to see AI features marked as unavailable, even though those features were included in the plan they were already using.
This could affect AI sequence templates, the AI review step, and AI personalization.
What was happening
In some cases, customers had an older personal subscription that had been cancelled and were now receiving access through a team subscription.
Botdog was sometimes checking the cancelled personal subscription instead of the active team plan. This meant someone on a Professional AI team could incorrectly be treated as though they were on the Starter plan.
There was also a separate issue with newly released features. When a capability had not yet been manually enabled for a plan, it could appear locked instead of automatically following what that plan already included.
What changed
Botdog now always checks the subscription that is currently active. This means team members receive the features included in their team’s plan.
Anything included in your plan is now unlocked by default. Since Professional AI is the highest plan, all included AI capabilities are available as soon as they are released.
We have also made this plan check consistent across Botdog, including:
- AI comments on lead posts
- Inbox sync
- Chat reminders
- Browser extension
Previously, a feature could appear available in one place and locked in another. All parts of Botdog now read your plan in the same way.
If a template still appears locked, it is because it has another requirement, such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Recruiter, or Premium. The template card will clearly show which requirement is missing.
