Long Conversations Open Faster When They Have Lots Of Attachments

Opening a long thread with many voice notes, images, or videos used to load every attachment upfront. This included ones you’d never scroll to. Voice notes were the worst offender.

Attachments now load as you scroll near them, in both the Unified Inbox and the lead drawer Inbox tab. A placeholder holds the space so the conversation doesn’t jump around, and once something loads it stays loaded. So no more re-downloading if you scroll back up.

Nothing changes about how you interact with messages or attachments. It’s just faster.
